Daniel oversees The Story Lab in Canada and is responsible for the direction and daily operations of the brand. His area of focus has largely been in the creation of intellectual property and has worked globally to develop, acquire and license content while also consulting for other IP and copyright owners and creators.
Daniel’s career began at a major record label before moving on to roles in business development and consulting both as an entrepreneur and within large multi-national organizations. He holds an undergraduate degree in Law and an MBA from Rotman School Of Management.
Tamara supports The Story Lab Canada’s effort in Content Development and Production. Tamara has produced award winning branded content for both broadcast and digital, as well as over 400 hour-hours of television programming. Her background combines extensive production, creative and media agency experience and in the past year she has been responsible for outputting over 30 branded entertainment programs for some of the world’s top brands that included multiple original series and media partnerships.
Alisha is the Director, Content at The Story Lab Canada. As a senior member of the team, she works with a diverse group of clients and media partners to lead programs and provide best in class service and results. Alisha graduated from Mohawk College Advertising and Media Communications program and has more than 18 years of industry experience across a broad range of categories including automotive, retail and CPG. She joined the Carat team in 2002 with a focus on broadcast and has continued to cultivate her passion for the business within The Story Lab.
Sarah is the Canadian Associate Director of Content for automotive client, General Motors. Sarah brings a passion for building authentic brands through creative platforms that resonate with audiences. She identifies, develops and activates media-led and original content opportunities for GM Canada. Applying her creative and strategic insights, Sarah will continue elevating GM’s expansion across all branded entertainment initiatives.
Prior to her role at The Story Lab, Sarah worked at two of Canada’s largest publishing and media companies.
With experience across multiple pillars of the marketing industry, she is able to execute branded content for GM seamlessly by understanding the client, the brand and their audience.
